How to arrive from Continental Europe
Sardinia is the second biggest island in the meditaranian sea. The island is quite big and has a length of 270 km and a width of 150 km. The beach Villa - Sole e Mare - is located on the north coast. Travel by plane or ferry is relativelly easy.
By Airplane
To arrive at the Beach Villa - Sale e Mare - via airplane the airport of Alghero is the best choice and is about 40 minutes way from the villa. Car rental remains strongly advisable too. An alternative is the airport in Olbia. Major carriers like EasyJet, Ryanair, Transavia, Alitalia and others fly to these airports. Olbia is about 1:40 hours away from the villa.
By Ferries ( boat)
Sardinia is well connected by ferry transport. From Italy you can reach the island from the mainland via Genoa, Livorno, and other ports.
From France there are ferries from Toulon, Marseille and Nice. Toulon with Corsica ferries offers nice night crossings.
From Spain there are ferries from Barcelona.
The best port to arrive in Sardinia is Porto Torres which is about 20 minutes away from the Beach Villa. Olbia and Golfo Aranci are also possible but are again about 1:40 hours from the Beach Villa.
